Passing along Sunshine & Sunny Summer!!

Rays of Sunshine!

So I'm doing something a bit new today...I received these questions from a fellow blogger, thanks Sara in Le Petit Village.  This Sunshine award is passed on to bloggers to spread a bit a joy and fun throughout.  Who doesn't want the sun shining down on them!!  I'm particularly happy as just after receiving the sunshine award, my spirits are already lifted.  It's the first day of summer vacation - and this morning it was raining...but alas - the sun is peaking out and the skies are clearing!!  Hurray!  So in honor of the sun making such a nice appearance this afternoon - I am going to play this little game.  (Those who know me well, know that I'm not one for lots of games - but this might just be fun!)

Object - to answer the questions below and then pass it along to 10 bloggers.  Those of you who receive it from me - I hope you will keep spreading  the sunshine!!

So here goes....

Favourite Color? My straight forward answer here is green - most all shades of green.  But I have to say yellow is growing on me - maybe it's living in France but lately bright yellows, bright pinks and bright orange mixed with greens just cheer me up.

Favorite Animal? A dog - I've had dogs most all my life and I'm a bit sad this year as we had to leave our labradoodle back in the States.    She's such a sweet bundle of energy and so loving.  I know she is in good hands as my mother is taking good care of her.

Favorite Number? favorite number or lucky number - maybe these are one in the same.  I'm partial to 6.  Not sure why - I've just always liked the number.  I can't really tell you if it's been a lucky number for me or not - or exactly why I'm draw to it - but when asked to pick a number 1-10, I always tend to just go with 6.

Favorite Drink? Wine! - hands down - love it!  Enough said. - Guess I live in the right place now.

Facebook or Twitter? Facebook  - I use both - but similar to others who have answered this question - I love to see photos of friends and family!  It's so nice to get an image of what's going on.  Twitter has it's uses - and I love getting all my news feeds quickly in one place but preference here definitely goes with Facebook.

Your Passion? – Food, wine, family and photography.  Hard to pick just one here.  Love to cook - love trying new recipes - love tasting wine - and of course pairing it with a great meal.  My husband also loves to cook when he has time - so it's always fun to have friends  & family over and make a great meal and enjoy it with awesome wine!  I love my family - love spending time with my girls and husband.  Love showing the world to them!  I also LOVE photography - capturing those moments on the camera.  I inherited my fathers Canon EOS and I love taking photos with it.  Maybe someday I'll take a photography workshop and learn how to really use on manual.

Giving or getting presents? Giving presents - it's definitely so exciting to wait for someone to open that special gift.  I love buying things for people - picking out that special gift that you know they will love.  The anticipation of waiting for their reaction is always fun!

Favourite Day? I have to agree with some others who live in France - Sunday.  It's definitely family day, here!  Stores are closed - so the afternoon is all about being together - hanging out and enjoying each other.  Sometimes this means a great family meal - but mostly for us it's about being together as a family - walking in a park, going on a bike ride, or just being together.

Favourite Flowers? Roses!...Although, I do like most all flowers - they are so fun and cheery and full of sunshine - Flowers will brighten up any room = anytime!  Still remember this black and white photo my mother took of me when I was about 3, climbing up on a picnic table to take in that wonder scent of a rose.

And now it's my turn to spread a little sunshine:
